Understanding Colour Variation

Colour consistency in dyed garments can be influenced by several external and production-related factors, including:

• Differences in fabric composition and fibre absorption
• Seasonal changes affecting water quality and temperature
• Variations between production facilities and manufacturing locations

These elements can result in slight differences in colour tone from one production run to another.

Managing Shade Consistency

Every effort is made to achieve the closest possible colour match across production batches. Approved colour references are used during manufacturing to guide dyeing accuracy and support visual consistency. However, due to the nature of textile dyeing, minor shade differences may still occur between batches.

Accepted Industry Tolerance

Within the apparel industry, a variation of up to one shade lighter or darker is considered acceptable and falls within standard manufacturing tolerance.

Even when dyeing processes are centralised, complete uniformity across all production runs cannot be guaranteed.

Quality Control Measures

Garments undergo multiple quality control checkpoints throughout the production process to monitor colour accuracy and overall finish.

While these controls reduce variance, small differences between production batches remain a normal and accepted characteristic of textile manufacturing.
